Chris McCoy has an extensive background in completions, production, and abandonment engineering. After graduating as a Petroleum Engineer from Texas A&M University, he worked as a completion engineer in the Eagle Ford Shale. Chris engineered completion designs that increased production while decreasing costs.
Chris moved to Canada where he worked the Montney and Duvernay plays, increasing EUR by 400% over his time there with improved completion designs and techniques. Chris moved back in the fall of 2018 and consulted for smaller operators, helping them improve field efficiency and decrease capital spending through new technology. He is now working with Alpine Energy Capital as Senior Operations Engineer. Alpine is a small but growth oriented company; Chris works on existing development projects for the company, and also assists on acquisition evaluations.
